Coroner's report sheds light on fatal crash
Aneurysm thought to have caused last Tuesday's accident

An initial coroner's report has shed light on the cause of a multi-vehicle accident that took one Cambridge woman's life last Tuesday.
Preliminary findings by Guernsey County Coroner Dr. Sandra Schubert show that 70-year-old Sylvia A. Milligan died of an acute aortal aneurysm while driving down Southgate Parkway in Cambridge at around 7:00pm last Tuesday. Authorities are speculating that this caused Milligan to lose control of her vehicle, leading to the roll-over accident.
Reports from the Cambridge Police Department indicate that first responders arrived at the scene, near the Sheetz filling station, to find that all three vehicles had sustained major damage. The driver of one vehicle was found to be un-injured. The drivers of the other two vehicles were trapped and one driver had to be extricated by members of the Cambridge Fire Department. Both were transported to Southeastern Med for treatment.
A portion of Southgate Parkway was closed for approximately three hours. The State Highway Patrol's crash reconstruction team assisted in the investigation.
